DIY Perimeter Trip Wire Alarm was originally seen on Total Survival
There’s really not much need for a perimeter alarm when you’re out camping, but in a survival scenario, it’s a whole other story. If lots of hungry and dangerous people are pouring out of the cities in search of food and supplies, you’ll need to make sure they don’t catch you off guard.
To that end, Sensible Prepper came up with a clever solution. This trip wire alarm is loud enough to alert you to someone’s presence, even if you’re temporarily away from your camp collecting wood or something.
Here’s what you need:
- Nails
- String
- Shotgun primers
- Smoke grenade tops (you can find these at gun shows or military surplus stores)
