DIY Recycled Denim Basket

DIY Recycled Denim Basket was first seen on Total Survival

If you’re looking for a cool project to try this upcoming weekend, then here’s a great idea that will also help you to recycle your old jeans. Why keep unused pairs of jeans in your closet when you can transform them into a nice little denim basket? The supplies you are going to need for this project are: old jeans, a sewing machine, a pair of scissors and a container or bucket that you can use as a model for your basket. Start by cutting denim strips as shown in the pictures from the link below. Then sew them end to end and make sure you keep 20 strips to use as the base of the basket. Tie one end with a knot and start weaving. For more instructions, pictures and tips and tricks, make sure to visit the link below. Don’t forget to use the bucket/container as your model, making sure your denim basket will have the desired shape and stability.
