Most preppers don’t even consider using a bicycle as a bug out vehicle. They think a bike is nothing more than a toy, and that you should get a real bug out vehicle. But what happens if there’s a traffic jam that goes on for miles? And what happens if your vehicle runs out of gas and all the stations are dry?

This is why a bicycle is such a great option. As long as you’re in good shape, you could cover 30 or more miles per day while pulling several hundred pounds on a bicycle trailer. You can weave around cars if there’s a traffic jam, and you don’t have to worry about running out of gas.
