Centuries ago, the Scottish Highlanders devised a series of games in order to provide adequate training to soldiers while under the rule of the British Crown. Known as the Highlander Games, Scottish soldiers were not allowed to train with arms, so they made up for it with regular competition. Today those who compete in the Highlander Games continue wearing traditional Scottish kilts, making the kilts the most notably recognized garment of the tradition.
Fortunately, today 5.11 Tactical provides Tactical Duty Kilts so you too can train under the same traditions as the Scottish Highlanders but in a modern style!

While Out in the Field
While out in the field, the 5.11 Tactical Duty Kilt holds true to its name. Designed so that minimal exposure occurs while running, crouching, or even lying prone the TDK allows for extreme maneuverability and agility. The lowest edge of the Tactical Kilt falls just at the knee, allowing the wearer no restrictions when utilizing leg or thigh holsters or knives attached to the boot. Additionally, the cargo style pockets can be interchanged, compensating for both left and right handed shooters, whether they would like rifle magazines or pistol magazines closer to their reach.
The 5.11 Tactical Duty Kilt also compliments multiple types of gear. Whether utilizing a combat belt, chest rig, or even a fully loaded plate carrier, the TDK is ready to go.
