Buy or pop some popcorn. Let it out for 24 to 48 hours since freshly popped popcorn has a tendency to break easily.

TIP: If you want to use a microwave popcorn, buy the one that doesn’t have butter and salt.

Step 2: Thread Your Needle

Begin stringing! Push the needle straight to the middle of each popcorn piece and carefully push it to the edge of the thread before adding another one.

TIP: If you’re going to use cranberries, wear old clothes and lay out drop cloths since the juice can stain. Alternate it with your popcorn.

Keep stringing until you’ve reached your desired length and tie a knot at the end. Now all that’s left to do is hang it in your home or around your Christmas tree and you’re done!
