In the checkout line at most grocery stores, there lies a cheap survival product called Spark’s Multi-Tool Lighter. This lighter has multiple survival applications and is an awesome piece of gear to have with you at all times.
I purchased this product at Walmart for about $7, which is a great price for what you get. This piece of gear is a 4-in-1. It includes a lighter, a mini knife, a corkscrew, and a bottle opener. In a survival situation a corkscrew and a bottle opener won’t do much for you, but the knife is particularly helpful.
Even though the knife will need sharping, in a survival situation it could save your life. This knife is really good for making wood shavings (for fire) and can easily cut rope and string. However, it doesn’t have a much of a point, meaning it isn’t great for skinning game.

This multi-tool lighter, also has a lighter…duh! The lighter is very intense. The flame burns well and is great for starting fires.
The lighter is easy to light, but it is not child resistant. All you need to do is pull down the switch on its side. The lighter is also water resistant, but not waterproof. There is also a cap to cover the lighter itself. At the bottom (base) of the lighter there is also a flame adjuster. You will need a screw driver or knife to adjust. The lighter is refillable as well. You can refuel it using butane fuel.

I would recommend purchasing this survival product at your local store. This is a great piece of gear to have on you at all times.
